Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm) is a popular ornamental plant known for its tropical, palm-like appearance. Though it resembles a palm, it is actually a cycad, part of an ancient group that existed during the time of dinosaurs. This plant is renowned for its dark green, stiff, and feathery leaves that resemble a palm tree. Its cylindrical trunk is covered with rough, brown leaf bases. Additionally, its symmetrical and compact form makes it suitable for both landscaping and as a houseplant.
