Calotropis procera, commonly known as King's Crown or Giant Milkweed, is a small tree native to semi-arid regions. It is renowned for its large, oval-shaped, leathery leaves with smooth edges and a grayish-green matte velvety texture. The small crown-shaped flowers come in shades of purple to pale violet with a white center, hence the name 'King's Crown'. It is a perfect addition to any landscape or garden, especially if it has desert or tropical themes!


Care Instructions:

Light: Prefers bright, direct sunlight; at least 6–8 hours of sunlight daily.

Water: Keep soil moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch is dry.

Soil: Use well-draining in poor, sandy, or rocky soils.

Temperature: Thrives in between 2 40°C and 50°C 104°F to (122°F).

Humidity: Prefers low to moderate humidity.

Fertilizer: Rarely needs fertilization. If desired, use a light application of general-purpose fertilizer once a year.

Pruning: Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead or damaged branches.
